Wellness – How You Can Feel Better Now!

The Wellness Industry

wellnessFor over two thirds of our population, wellness is a mythical way of life.  Let me ask you a question. How do you feel today?  Do you feel well, healthy, energetic?  If you do, you are amongst a minority.  Over 2/3 of our population are in poor health and don’t experience wellness.  For openers almost 2/3 of the population is overweight.  That doesn’t even begin to count the number of people with serious illness such as cancer and heart disease or less serious such as arthritis, colds, flus, headaches, cramps, intestinal issues and various other ailments.   What’s wrong?  How did it get this way?

PS much of this information is based on “The Next Trillion” by Paul Zane Pilzer.

The Overweight Problem

As I said, almost 2/3 of Americans are overweight with 1/3 being obese.  And 1/3 of our children are overweight .  The health risks of this are :

  • type 2 diabetes
  • heart disease
  • high blood pressure
  • nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (excess fat and inflammation in the liver of people who drink little or no alcohol)
  • osteoarthritis (a health problem causing pain, swelling, and stiffness in one or more joints)
  • some types of cancer: breast, colon, endometrial (related to the uterine lining), and kidney
  • stroke

Sadly.  even many people with normal weight are unhealthy.  They have various maladies such as headaches, body pain, arthritis, fatigue and other disease.  We are told to accept this as part of the normal aging process, but really, is it?

The human body requires a daily intake of 13 essential vitamins and also certain minerals to sustain the millions of chemical reactions necessary for wellness.  Sadly even apparently “healthy” people do not get these necessary vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities to sustain their wellness.

The State Of The Food Industry

For various reasons, our food supply has been declining in quality for many years.  We are bombarded with “empty calories” defined as food with caloric content but deficient in essential nutrients (full of fat, sodium and preservatives).

A 1 trillion dollar food industry bombards us with messages designed to entice us to eat the worst possible food.  And the “target” market for processed food largely consists of overweight people in low income brackets.   So this subterfuge is designed to increase the size of the “sick” population both in number of people, and in girth.  In addition, big Tobacco has bought up the junk food industry and uses the same deceptive techniques it used to promote cigarettes for decades convincing us that smoking was good for us.

This industry also targets children with the aim to encouraging addictive behavior amongst our youth so as to entice them to become life-long consumers of junk food, and thus become pill poppers at an early age.  Here, have some Ritalin, you will feel better!

Our bodily organs replace themselves regularly and without the proper nutrition, we deteriorate: we are unable to replace the dying cells of our organs.   Symptoms include mood swings, nervousness, headaches, confusion, muscle weakness and more.  Longer term we get cancer, hypertension, Alzheimer’s  etc. and again, we are told to accept this as part of the aging process.

The State Of The Medical Industry

The medical industry treats nutritional problems with drugs that focus on the symptoms rather than the underlying problem.  The “medicine” you get is the most profitable for all concerned except you.  The doctor, the hospital and the pharmaceutical company all profit and you remain marginally ill.  The industry wants to keep you ill.  Just ill enough, mind you, that you get out of bed feeling like crap and pop some pills for the rest of your life.  They have no interest in curing you.  How sad! It is more profitable for them if you remain marginally sick.

Emergence of the wellness Industry

“The $2.8 Trillion U.S. Healthcare Market Threatened By Disruptive New Entrants”  reads a headline recently.  With a little luck, the entire industry is about to be reshaped.  Health insurance as we know it will quite possibly disappear and be replaced by wellness insurance which will, at a greatly reduced premium, pay for preventive medicine.  Wellness will replace sickness as a way of life.

Already there is a subculture of people who practice extreme wellness and you can be one of them.  The direct selling industry is leading this charge into the brighter future and you can be part of it.  There are 20,000 more chemicals and toxins in our food, cleaning products and our environment than there where 30 years ago and we can and we must change that.

The Solution Is Here

There is a solution to this sickness problem and you can be part of it.  Join with me and a few friends and join the elite of the wellness movement.  Let me show you how.

What if I told you that it is possible for you to have more energy than you have had in many years?  Wouldn’t you at least want to try it out? Ask me how you can be part of the solution and profit in the process!  You will be glad you did and you and your family will feel better than you can imagine.  Your progeny will thank you for generations to come. Again, ask me how!

  1. Yes, the so-called health industry can not survive if we are not ill. The multi-million dollar corporations would be out of business. The only thing I can think of as to their thinking and justify in their minds the horrendous injustice that is perpetrated upon real humans is they are providing jobs and thus keeping the economy stable. It has to be the only thing that allows them to go to sleep at night. Thank goodness for wellness warriors and the education that we are bringing forth.

  2. Excellent post Len! We as Americans are so unhealthy, but at the same time I think if the BMI scale was updated to today’s “normal” we would see a change in numbers since it is about 30-40 years outdated. But, that still isn’t an excuse for how we have become a “fast Food” society. Thanks for the great share!
